Time is ticking very fast, I don't care,
I know I'm gonna last,
My granddad first, my parents next,
I'll be the last, you wanna bet?

There's plenty of time for me to pray
I'll do my sins, then wash them away
Going to the mosque, now that's a joke
Within that time, I could have a good smoke!
Huffing and puffing my ciggie away,
Religion is last on the agenda today

A pain in my chest occurred one night,
I was so severe, it gave me a fright
I'll go to the doctor in the morning I said,
But then I didn't get out of my bed!

'Who is your Lord?' a voice boomed down,
said a dark black face with a very big frown
I stuttered and stumbled
And managed to say: 'Allaah is my Lord...
Is that okay?' 'Who is your Prophet?'
He began to ask I didn't know the answer so I wanted to pass,
If only I went to my Islamic class

The dark black figure then went away,
But in the distance I could hear it say:
'Now, that's a Muslim, a Muslim by name,
not one thing in his favor for him to gain
The bounties of paradise that Allaah has promised,
To all the Muslims who have been honest!

I wanted to scream and shout and say;
'O Allaah, forgive me, for I didn't pray!'
But now it's too late, my time is up,
You may think I'm being abrupt

But people out here, please hear what I say:
'Remember your Lord, pray 5 times a day'
It's bonus for you, if you take this advise,
For then you won't suffer in the afterlife!
