My Beautiful Palestine

Asalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatahu

As i climbed the mountains of palestine,

I saw the soldiers take the home that is mine.

I saw the bullets pass over my head,

I heard the screams of my sisters...

As i touched the dead olive tree,

I saw a child stare right at me.

She was shouting about the injustice and crimes,

shouting about her beautiful Palestine...

She cried, "My beautiful Palestine.

Wait patiently in time, peace shall come, freeing everyone.

Truth shall be shown and not remain forgotten."

As she came closer and looked into my eyes, she said,

"Brother, tell me no more lies.

Where are the Righteous?

Where are the pious?

Where are the ones who'll bring us justice?

Have they gone and left us?"

As she walked away, from her brother,

stones in one hand and the qur'aan in the other.

She cried, "We have been betrayed!

But our faith in you Allah will never fade."

She walked through the black smoke,

as the world whispers on with small talk...
